We are Mediators of Hope
We serve as mediators between generous individuals and underprivileged students. Recognizing the students’ needs and their hopes for a brighter future, we connect them with kind-hearted supporters who help make their dreams a reality.
SFSF began in 1999 and has since grown significantly.
In 1998, Fr. Miguel Garaizabal, S.J, the English Community Chaplain, called for a quick meeting after Sunday Mass, asking if we, as a group, could think of any ways in which funds could be raised in order to keep 30 to 40 young students in education. Many suggestions were put forth, and then continued to grow slowly; over the years since then, this project has been helping poor students stay in school and finish their education.
